Sorrel (Hibiscus) Tea Recipe for Healthy Skin

Sorrel (hibiscus) aids in healthy skin. The polyphenol, procatechuic acid (PCA), prevents free radicals that damage skin cells and cause premature skin aging. Sorrel is also anti-inflammatory for your skin.

Ingredients:

4 quarts water
3 inch ginger (grated)
3 cups dried, organic hibiscus flower
1 1/2 tsp allspice
1 orange peel
Organic molasses to taste (or your preferred sweetener)

Directions:

Boil water.
Turn off heat.
Add hibiscus.
Add allspice, orange peel, and grated ginger.
Stir.
Cover and let sit overnight.
Strain.
Decant.
Enjoy!
