Welcome to Work With Me Wednesday. I love it when you tag along with me in the lab. Today, I'm formulating a custom order moisturizing body wash for a special client. Formulating a moisturizing body wash includes some key ingredients that won't dry out your skin. I share the ingredients I use and highlight one of my favorite moisturizing and cleansing oils. Work With Me Wednesday: Moisturizing Body Wash

Welcome back to Work With Me Wednesday. I'm so glad you can tag along. Today, I'm making a moisturizing body wash. More specifically, I'm making the Queen of Flowers Body Wash.     The ingredients in this formulation are key to its moisturizing benefits. They are: Organic Castile soap. It's an oil-based soap made from olive oil, coconut, castor, or hemp oils. Castor oil is natural, nontoxic, bio-degradable, gentle on skin, and non-irritating.   Organic Castor oil. It has antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and moisturizing properties. Castor oil has been used since Ancient Egyptian times.     Raw Buckwheat honey. Is Soap Drying Out Your Skin?

Does your skin feel dry or tight when you get out of the shower or bath? That could be your bar soap. Bar soaps have a higher pH, which means it may dehydrate your skin. I want to tell you some ingredients to look for when you're looking for a soap. First, look for a liquid soap, preferably an oil-based liquid soap, which has a lower pH.
